Our local college had a musical event that everyone was invited to. It was a night filled with beautiful music and finger snacks. The star of the show was the electric upright bass. Until that night I did not even realize they made this instrument. It was truly something special to watch as the young girl playing the instrument stroked the strings with such direction. She was in her own world that just she and her instrument seemed to share and we were just observers. It gave the audience chills to watch her. through her entire piece of music not one other sound could be heard. Everyone was talking about her for several days after the show. Now that was a concert.
