My company is based in DC, but I regularly take the train to Baltimore to meet with clients. Some of my company’s most important clients are there, so I don’t mind making the trip. It’s an easy ride up, and it’s nice to get out of DC for a while. I try to be as accommodating as possible to my clients, so if they want to see me at a certain time, I make it happen. Anyone that is designing a space in their homes or offices can appreciate a piece of well made furniture. In the beginning we had furniture that was a mixed bunch of designs and makers. There was no certain style to the design only a coordination of colors. This was good for us because we had several moves that the furniture had to endure as well as several children and pets. As our pets and our children have gotten older the pieces of furniture that had taken the journey of life with us to this point has retired and we are replacing it with a more elegant and yet still liveable pieces. I think the first room was the most difficult because we had to agree on the basics so we had a direction for our entire home and now we just enjoy every decision.

Our local college had a musical event that everyone was invited to. It was a night filled with beautiful music and finger snacks. The star of the show was the electric upright bass. Until that night I did not even realize they made this instrument. It was truly something special to watch as the young girl playing the instrument stroked the strings with such direction. She was in her own world that just she and her instrument seemed to share and we were just observers. It gave the audience chills to watch her. through her entire piece of music not one other sound could be heard. Everyone was talking about her for several days after the show. Now that was a concert.

It is amazing what a difference you can make in your office with a few small changes. When it comes to the chairs, for instance, there are a lot of changes that happen at one time. The over all look of the office can rally change because chairs do wear out and look their age as they get older. We do use our chairs a lot. Then comes the change in moral. It has been a few years now since the invention of single board computers. Being an IT Manager for most of my IT career we have used a single board computer in our non-windows server.
