There are some things that arrive on the scenes for entertainment that we know are going to be a fad. We can just tell that they will not last and then there are those things that we know will take off but no one knows how really big they will be or how long they will last. This was the case when technological games began on the scene. I remember the little ball going back and forth as we hit it and found it to be amazing. Little did we foresee our futures. Then came the more complex games and from there we have found ourselves in a world of millions of gamers that enjoy the gaming world to extremes spending a great deal of money on these amazing and breathtaking games. From the onset we have had some of the standard games that have carried through the years a group of fans and brought in even more with each generation being introduced to them. We have a natural area in our yard that we set up a compost bin several years ago. It has been very vital in giving us some really fertile soil to work with in our garden. We have been reading about a composter that would do the job faster then they way we do it. Our neighbor has one and to see how it works is really a cool thing. Not wasting anything and using the natural resources to make our gardens better is exciting. I am sure we will be seeing more and more people with composts as they realize how rewarding it is to grow your own foods.

Until we began watching a show on gold mining from under water I had not actually seen the amount of work that is done to retrieve this much sought after precious metal. There is a lot of work done to get that precious metal from the bottom of the ocean to the sieves. Many of the sieves they use are hand constructed and not like the ones that you can find online. There are so many things in the world of medical science that are there to save our lives. Many things we do not know about until one day we find ourselves needing them. When we moved to our small town we knew there were things that we would have to change. We began trying different churches and found that there were differences but not really in the way you would think. The main differences were the church seating chairs. Some of the seats were folding chairs all in a row and others were bench style. I think the seating arrangement that still stands out the most for us was when we went with some friends to their church and we actually sat on tree stumps. When we sat in our cars to head back home the car seat was the most comfortable thing we could imagine. It was like slipping out of your work shoes into your house shoes after a long day at work. Until that day we had not thought about the seating in church we just sat down. Now we think about is every trip.

We have been watching a lot of local bands lately. The sounds of the local bands have certainly improved through the years. We enjoy so much hearing the sometimes unique sounds but always entertaining music that our local bands write and perform at different events. Of course they sound so good because they have the right equipment. From the Hiwatt amplifiers to the incredible guitars they are able to create incredible music that everyone enjoys listening to. When they start to pay the crowd begins to gather and before long it becomes a concert. I have a feeling that many of these bands are on their way to mainstream venues.

After being away at college for my freshman year, I was dreading moving back home for the summer. I would have loved to stay on campus and take some classes but needed to go home and work to help pay for my sophomore year. I had gotten spoiled having my friends in the dorm , the library a short walk away and free wi-fi. Fortunately I was able to convince them to get satellite internet broadband so I could at least stay in touch with my friends! The funny thing about it is, now that they have it, I can’t get them to stay off of it! My dad thinks e-mail is the greatest inventions ever. My mom has taken social networking to a whole new level. She has more “friends” online than ever. For years they were very skeptical of the world wide web and refused to have anything to do with it for fear of the dangers it posed. I’m excited to see that they are embracing technology and taking advantage of everything that’s available to them!

There are so many fun things that make spring our favorite time of year. Of course we are ready for each season as it comes and that oncoming season becomes our favorite because of what it has to offer. For the spring time we look forward to Easter egg hunts and picnics around the pool. We enjoy family get togethers under our wooden gazebo late into the evenings. The summer is filled with so much fun we can not wait to begin. We start with removing the covers from the outdoor furniture. We enjoy so much turning on the lights we have mounted under our gazebo and watching all of the fireflys. Life is all about the fun stuff so do not forget to enjoy it all.

It is time for the great outdoors and wolverine boots. The summer months are filled with times of fun and out door activities. It is exciting to think about what all we will be able to do this summer. We have a lot of fun planned. That is the really cool part about summer. Whether you are in flip flops or mountain boots there is something that is waiting for you outdoors. As the month was slowly changing the big deal around our home is when we take the covers off of the pool furniture. Everyone gets really antsy to get on the trails when we do that simple act. It is funny but we have always made a big deal out of taking off the covers to bring in spring. We have a barbeque and friends and family come over as well. All we talk about is the outdoors. We just love it.

There is nothing that can give a space some life to it better then a well placed plant. It just gives a room a look of good health and beauty. You can get the best houseplants online. They have all types of plants for larger areas and smaller ones. A plant that is well cared for gives such a change to a rooms decor. In my sisters office she put one of the larger plants that she had from her home by her reception area. The plant loves all of the lighting and is responding well to it. The customers compliment her on that plant every day. She says she has never had a customer not tell her how lovely the plant is. Since she put the plant beside her desk it has grown and filled out even better. I suppose it likes all of the attention it is getting as well.
