Box of old photos and photo restoration

When we found an old box of pictures we were so excited about many of the pictures that featured family members that are no longer living. Some of the pictures were not in as good of shape as others. We found out that we can have a photo restoration done on them and get them looking back good again. It would truly be sad if we lost some of these emotionally valuable pictures. We decided that we could have the pictures restored that need it and put them in a special collection for our parents. It will be one of those gifts that you can not put a word to other then more special then words as my mother always says. We were surprised to find a company that does picture restoration. They also do crystal imaging where you can have a the image of a picture or object put 3d into a crystal. This would truly be a great gift for many of our family members that can be hard to buy for.

Everything tells me that the economy is down, then I have others on ways to make extra money. Time for school and books

The school season is in full swing and we have everything we need to make it another successful year. The kids have their clothes, supplies and textbooks and we are ready for what ever comes our way! It is hard to believe how fast the school years go as our children are getting older but they seem to just fly by. I am sure this is going to be another year of surprise last minute assignments and posters that we are up all night making but that is what makes it all fun. We still talk about some of our 3am nights as we are waiting on the paint to dry on a project that one of our children forgot about until midnight the night before the due date! I can not tell you how many times I have gone to work and someone tells me I have paint in my hair or glue on my shirt. I always respond the same way..I have kids and they respond the same way..Last minute project? I think it is something that all of us parents go through and I love it.

Fans can keep it a little cooler

When we bought our home we knew we wanted to add just one more thing and it would be perfect. In every room we wanted to add Hunter ceiling fans. We have always used Hunter fans because they are quiet and dependable. I really like all of the styles that you can get them in as well. When you find something that you like you tend to stick to it I mean after all why would I want to try any other fans when I know what I get with these? When we sold our last home the one thing that the new buyers made sure of is that we left the ceiling fans which was hard for us to do but in this house we will get a different style and when it comes time to sell I am sure we will be faced with the same thing!

Catering ideas and Vancouver cafe

We have a small company but as small as we are we manage to have meetings quite a lot. We have something to eat and brainstorm together. Many of our meetings we have catered. I was reading about a Vancouver cafe that has some really good ideas on the catering menu. They have freshly baked breads which everyone loves and they feature healthy foods. With a menu of wraps and Italian paninis as well as fresh fruits and blueberry cheesecake you can not go wrong for lunch. They also have a breakfast menu as well with European coffee which is a fav around here! There is also the bocconcini crostini, mini chicken skewers and veal meatballs available. I told you it would make you hungry to read about it.

Funeral planning should anything happen

If you are a planner like I am then you may have checked into funeral planning already. There are few things in life guaranteed but death is. On the event of my death I do not want my loved ones scrambling trying to figure out my wishes and paying for my funeral. I want it to be as easy for them as possible. So I did my research even though I am a young person. I can pay for my funeral for up to 15 years. I can make my arrangements and set the cost of my funeral which will not change. Then should something happen to me I will be taken care of the way I wanted and my family is not in the situation of trying to figure it out.

Lately there seems to be a lot of new entertainment characters coming out from the internet and reality shows. Whether it be actors or singers there is a large amount of young talent coming from these new forms of entertainment. One of the youngest and becoming well know singers is Justin Beiber. It seems he came in second in a singing contest and his mother video recorded his performance to load on the internet. Some record execs liked what they saw and decided to sign him to a record contract. This September he is taking his brand of music and touring the major cities in Canada. Satellite TV has become a player

When we moved onto our street we noticed that many people had those little dishes out in the front yards and side yards for satellite TV. When we spoke to one of our neighbors they were telling us the prices that they were getting for Local TV-Satellite and it was much cheaper then what we were paying at our old home with a cable company. They used Direct TV and were able to take advantage of the packages that they offer. I had thought you could only get cable on one of your TV’s if you used a satellite type of cable and we were informed differently. It is important to always be informed of your options. If you can do the same thing and do it cheaper that is a no brainier for us.
