Wold of Warcraft : Cataclysm is their upcoming new world version.

In WOW an ancient evil lies dormant within Deepholm of the earth in what is called the Elemental Plane. A Dragon Aspect Deathwing has been in a secluded sanctuary waiting and recovering from it’s wounds of his last battle against Azeroth. This down time is allowing him to reforge the world in molten fire. The Deathwing Dragon will return to Azeroth with a vengeance for destruction. From his re-birth from Deepholm will shake the foundation of the world and create seismic shifts in power and creating wars. Yea everyone likes a good destroy the world and have war ploy.

Should be one of the biggest sellers for the coming year.

Your favorite MMORPG World of Warcraft, world’s largest multiplayer role playing game is adding a new game expansion called Cataclysm.

The Blizzard Entertainment are saying that Cataclysm is a about a near-apocalyptic event inside Azeroth. This fantasy world in the World of Warcraft that is partially in ruins that have been torn apart by tsunamis, massive tidal waves and eruptions from volcanos that accuried from Dragon that was rising from beneath the earth surface. Very Cool.

Blizzard has not yet released a date on Cataclysm. We will keep you posted.

Today I was trying to check on who won the Formula one race in Spain. Could not go to my regular websites that covers F1. It seems all of them are down. I noticed that all sites that seemed to be european based were down. My Warcraftlair site is up, but my visitor tracking software is down. So then I went to the WorldofWarcraft.com site, guess what DOWN. What happen? Did someone get a little carried away with game play at wow.  Maybe even destroyed a few realms on a server or two? Not sure but this problem accessing the many european sites that I do is inter-fearing with my normal routine of checking my sites and catching up on news. You also there are alot of mad WOW folks that cannot access the game.

Warcraft is an adventured shared by over 10 million players. Ther world is a living, breathing online adventure. The Adventure of World of Warcraft has many heros online in this world of magic, myth, monsters, creatures you only see in your dreams that make up infinite journey.

 To enter the World of Warcraft game, a player must select a realm to take part in. Each WOW realm acts as an individual copy of the virtual game world. Realms are either available as : Player versus player (PvP)where open combat among players is more common or Play in the realm as : a Player versus environment (PvE) where your focus is more focused on defeating monsters and completing quests. Then there are the roleplay (RP) variants of both realm types that are also available.

PvP or RP-PvP realms allows a player to create characters belonging to either the Horde or the Alliance factions. Warcraft virtural realms are also categorized by language with in-game support in the language available. A WOW player selects a new character’s race (species) including Orcs, Trolls for the Horde or Humans warriors or Dwarves for the Alliance. Players must also select the class for the character, with choices such as mages, warriors and priests available. This seems like dungeon and dragons going virual online.
